National EHS is a dedicated to promoting safety in the workplace through effective safety training and safety management.  Since 1991, we have trained thousands of students in construction, general industry, fire departments, EMS services, government agencies, military installations, and police and sheriff departments.  Our instructors bring years of real-world experience to the classroom.  Classes are interesting and informative as well as challenging for the average student.

Kevin Phillips is National EHS's president, senior instructor and program designer.  He has been an emergency responder for over 32 years, serving with the Pittsfield Fire Department in Massachusetts, the MA and NY Air National Guard Crash and Rescue Teams, the Cleveland County HAZMAT team and service as a search and rescue pilot with the Civil Air Patrol, North Carolina Wing.

 

He holds an AS Degree in Fire Science Technology and a BS Degree in Industrial Safety Management.   As a Certified Environmental Trainer  registered with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, an OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer and Certified Instructional Trainer with the BCSP, he has been providing quality safety training, consulting and site management for more than 3 decades and has personally trained thousands of students for industrial HAZMAT teams, fire brigades, hazardous waste site work, and general workplace safety.
